Thank you sincerely for your outstanding support and generosity at our annual Jam-walk 5K and brunch. Your unwavering commitment helped us surpass our initial fundraising goal.
WE HAVE REACHED OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL OF $75,000!
Your dedication continues to shine a light on the compassion and unity of the HHJF community, helping us move closer to our mission of providing access to education for children and youth in Jamaica.
On May 24, not even a little cloud could dampen the vibrant spirit of Jam-walk. Toronto’s waterfront came alive with the sounds of laughter, music, and celebration as over 100 enthusiastic participants and supporters joined us for a day filled with unity and Carnival-inspired joy. Walkers received custom HHJF bucket hats and gifts from the Jamaica Tourist Board, enjoyed a delicious brunch, and stayed refreshed with fresh coconut water. The incredible DJ Ian, DJ DOC and the one and only SPEXDABOASS kept the energy high with Reggae and Calypso beats.
A special highlight of the day was the presentation of the Denise Jones Legacy Award to our second recipient—Toronto Raptors Ambassador, President of the Jamaal Magloire Foundation, and Band Leader of the Toronto Revellers – Jamaal Magloire.
We extend heartfelt thanks to our partner, the Jamaica Tourist Board; a special shout-out to Bruce Croxon, our highest individual fundraiser; to Mary Bishop for the stunning floral arrangements; our dedicated volunteers; and The Love of Carnival “Savannah’ Kiddies” for kicking off the walk with flair and joy.
Jam-walk’s success was made possible because of YOU. Your generosity is helping break down barriers and creating lasting change for generations of Jamaican children.
