Jamrock Carnival
On behalf of the Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out and supported our 19th Annual Jamrock Gala. It truly was a memorable evening, filled with love, laughter, and philanthropy.
We want to thank our generous sponsors who made this evening possible: Packall Packaging, Kisko, Jamaica Tourist Board, Nursing & Homemakers Inc., Acosta, and Ingredion. Your continued support of Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation is sincerely appreciated.
The evening began with our stunning cocktail reception set on the patio overlooking the lake, as the sun set. Truly setting the tone for the evening’s island vibes! The energy of Carnival followed suit, with Chubby’s Rum Punch being served as members from the Impulse Steel Orchestra welcomed guests into the ballroom with the sounds of Reggae and Soca on the steel drums.
The Palais Royale ballroom was filled with smiling faces, vibrant colours, and the enchantment of carnival, as guests enjoyed delicious cuisine, expertly paired wines, and award-winning coconut cream butter tarts generously donated by Baxter's Bakery, all accompanied by the spirit of Jamaica and the camaraderie of philanthropy. The live auction was a true highlight of the evening, offering fantastic prizes, including an exclusive dinner for six at Chubby's Jamaican Kitchen, a trip for two to any Couples Resorts in Jamaica, and several stays at some of the most stunning villas.
Your support directly funds our annual school builds, helping to create safe, inspiring, and well-equipped learning environments for thousands of children across Jamaica. Each new school addresses critical community needs — from overcrowded classrooms to inadequate facilities and poor sanitation — and provides a foundation for lasting educational and social impact.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, sponsors, and supporters like you, we’re thrilled to share that this year’s gala raised the funds needed to build our 28th school in St. Elizabeth.
Once again, the It Factor team, on behalf of the Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation, sincerely thank all our sponsors, partners, auction donors, volunteers, table and ticket purchasers for helping make this event a success. We could not have achieved it WITHOUT YOU!
