Serena Williams Fund

In early February 2016, we were thrilled to partner with the Serena Williams Fund and Food for the Poor to build the Salt Marsh Basic School in the parish of Trelawny. Serena Williams herself, the #1 ranked women's tennis player in the world and Sports Illustrated's Sportsperson of the Year, was on hand to help with the build, along with an incredible cast of characters that included the likes of Grammy Award winning artists Shaggy and Sean Paul, Olympic gold medal sprinter Yohan Blake, Olympic Bronze medal sprinter Warren Weir, MLS MVP Dwayne De Rosario, and many more. 

Many thanks to Serena, her foundation and all who volunteered their time and energy in making this project a huge success.  Serena proved once again what an incredible inspiration she is both on and off the court.
